Oppo Releases First Look of Condensed Green Color Variant of R17 Pro

The sale of Oppo R17 Pro — a premium offering from Chinese manufacturer — is yet start despite launch in August. The smartphone was originally introduced in Streamer Blue colour. Now, the Oppo has released a new colour variant for the R17 Pro called “Condensed Green.” This is quite similar to the Emerald Green edition of the recently-announced Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 flagship phone. The new colour looks really attractive since it imparts different hues of dark green when viewed from different angles. The Condensed Green Oppo R17 Pro will go on sale alongside Streamer Blue variant from next month in China.

The Oppo R17 Pro sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. The phone also features an under-the-display fingerprint reader. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, which is assisted by 8GB RAM along with 128GB internal storage. In case users run out of the storage space, they can use a dedicated micro-SD card provided in the device.

In terms of software, the Oppo R17 Pro runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.2. For photography, a dual camera is provided at the rear which consists of 12-megapixel primary and 20-megapixel secondary sensors along with an additional TOF 3D stereo camera. The device is equipped with a 25-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

The phone is backed by a 3,700-mAh battery that supports VOOC fast-charge technology. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G. The phone comes with a fingerprint sensor, compass/ magnetometer, proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and gyroscope.
