If you are a fan of Nokia smartphones, we have a good news for you. The company has slashed the prices of select smartphones in India. The prices of the smartphones have been slashed up to Rs 13,000. Here is the new pricing for the phones.
First, we start with the company’s entry-level smartphone Nokia 3.1 (3GB RAM) which has received Rs 1,000 price cut. The phone now retails at Rs. 10,999 instead of Rs. 11,999. The Nokia 3.1 was launched in India in May with 3GB/ 32GB variant launching in August alongside the Nokia 2.1 and Nokia 5.1 In terms of specification, Nokia 3.1 features a 5.2-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor.
Next comes Nokia 5.1 (3GB of RAM and 32GB storage) which has received Rs 1,500 price cut and now is available for Rs 12,999. Nokia 5.1 sports a 5.5-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6755S processor.
The company has also slashed the price of both 3GB/ 32GB and 4GB/ 64GB variant of mid-range device Nokia 6.1 by Rs 1,500 and Rs. 1,000 respectively. The 3GB Nokia 6.1 will now retail at Rs. 13,499 while the 4GB Nokia 6.1 has a new price tag of Rs. 16,499. Nokia 6.1 aka Nokia 6 (2018) is an updated version of Nokia 6 and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and features a 5.8-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) display. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC.
Finally, the premium offering Nokia 8 Sirocco has got a big price cut of Rs. 13,000. The smartphone was launched in India with a price tag of Rs 49,999. It will now retail at Rs. 36,999. Nokia 8 Sirocco runs on Android Oreo 8.1 out-of-the-box and is part of the Android One programme. The phone sports a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560) OLED display with an aspect ratio of the 16:9. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
